Have you thought about going to a charity shop and buying something from a nice brand? Check the labels in the back of the clothes. You'll often find things from nicer high street shops or department stores -- without the price tag of buying new.
Some charity shops have some right bargains in them. One of my local charity shops sells items for £1 and there are some beautiful pieces in. Check ebay or fb selling pages for cheap clothing. If you have a good phone you can download apps on try apps like 'vinted' and 'depop'.
I agree with the comments above, charity shops usually have a good selection of clothes with reasonable prices.
Charity shops, buying 2nd hand items from fb, vinted, gumtree, eBay, depop, swapping clothes with friends or family if they are the same size, renting outfits from companies, upcycling your current clothes, buy clothes in the sales, H&M do a free suit hire service.
Most of mine clothes was bought on sale, if you have time you can check Tk Maxx ,often you can find some really good brands, prices are cheap. Also ebey there lots of clothes new with tags.
if you have friends who wear the same size, you could always do a clothes swap, or borrow. It’s not necessary to buy new all the time
