My son just took his theory on Saturday. Passed first time ๐Ÿ˜ Proud mama! He's hoping to get his driving test booked this Friday via his instructor but apparently not likely until at least April- May due to backlog.

The theory test wasn"t around when I was learning. I passed my driving test at the second attempt. Sorry that you failed yours. Don't give up!

Driving isn't that hard. Just get used to it, pretty much.

I have not yet had a practical driving test. Though I did take my theory test and passed second time.

I am sorry to hear that you have failed your practical. But look at this as being an opportunity to improve on whatever it is that made you fail. Knowing the cause of the problem is half the battle.

I have never wonted to learn to drive due to the idiots driving or parents buying their kids a car with a engine to big they can't handle

Passed the theory test and practical test first time. I think because I just had the right amount of lessons and made sure I was really ready ๐Ÿ™‚

Sorry that you failed your first attempt ๐Ÿ˜ž but please don't be disheartened and think of it as experience. You now know what to expect next time and will be even more prepared and I'm sure you'll do well on your second attempt. Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

Fortunately, just once. Which is just as well as I found the driving test to be very stressful ๐Ÿšฆ

I passed first time. But barely had the chance to drive afterwards, now 20 years later I'm scared of driving (rented a car on holiday and nearly had a panic attack)

Js26 Yes if one day we buy a car I will definitely do that. I need to learn to drive on the left side of the road anyway as I learnt on the right side.

I passed first time. There was no theory test back then.

It was a bit stressful because I had the examiner's boss in the back of the car who was assessing him.

Luckily, they took me on the easiest test route ๐Ÿ™‚

I learned to drive back in a time when many women still did not. Usually one family car which the husband claimed ownership of. However, hubby was abroad 9 months of every year so I needed to drive. He had passed first time so pressure was on but I did too, he phoned that night from abroad and next day sent me flowers. Both our sons passed first time and grandson also passed first time straight after his 17th birthday. I feel sorry for family members of the future having to keep up the record lol!

I only had a practical and a written test. The written was very easy as just brought in took a few practical can't remember now exactly how many. I believe they made it harder now with additional tests my daughter is planning to learn next year
