Do You Like An Egg In A Cup?

Ask a Question

Please tell me I’m not the only one who enjoys a boiled egg in a cup. I thought it was normal until my friend told me otherwise, she was disgusted haha 😂

Not sure what you mean by egg in a cup. I have an egg in an egg cup and dip my soldiers in. Only me though, kids don’t like it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE egg in a cup! Loved it has a kid, and even more so now! Yum! Tuesday is always a quick and rushed dinner in our house - think I might just have it tonight!

Going back to my childhood an egg in a cup was something you got when poorly. Take one egg and soft boil, one slice of buttered bread, chop egg and bread into cup, add a small amount of milk and seasoning, mix it all up 🙂

Is this a 'northern' thing as I've described above? It might explain why some members have not heard of it. I always thought we were given eggs this way because we had no egg cups, (expensive and for posh folk)
