Have You Ever Experienced Trolley Rage When Shopping?
Ask a Question
Have you ever experienced “trolley rage” when shopping?
Have u ever experienced any aggression while shopping?
Did some tell to hurry?
How’s ur shopping experience?
Yes, years ago in a supermarket. They were selling frozen turkeys and had them on special offer, one checkout girl had one thrown at her, and a customer had turkey, pinched from her trolley by another customer.
Not trolley rage, just normal rage. I hate shopping at the moment. Far too many people want to take there time shopping like it’s a leisurely activity, which it normal is but we are in the middle of a global pandemic. People are going shopping for a day out and not just out getting the things you need!

Don't try to police others. Without sounding rude, mind your own business than try to figure their lives out.
PhilipMarc what you on about figure their lives out? It’s simple go to the shops and get what you need then go. Try to reduce as much time as you can in the shop whilst we are in the middle of a pandemic, unless the moronic people have forgot.
Getsome I agree, and what irritates me the most is when I see people standing together chatting down one of the aisles, not shopping at all. I noticed people doing this when the shops were limiting the amount of people who could go in and there were queues outside. Plus, they are blocking the shelf/fridge/area that they are standing in front of with their trollies.
I wouldn't say trolley rage. I've been annoyed a few times when shopping recently as people have been coming right up to me and leaning over to get stuff off the shelves! Just wait an extra 10 seconds! I have seen people fighting over yellow sticker items before.
Not exactly rage but last week in Morrisons now they are back to one queue it stretched nearly 3 aisles, as I got to the 'queue here' gates - one aisle to go - a woman cut in front of me and joined the queue, no way "excuse me, the queue is end 2 aisles that way" and off she stomped with a face like thunder, tough I'd been there for 20 minutes.
Thankfully, we don't go shopping.
We have a choice of getting deliveries from either Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons or Iceland, so don't need to.
I really don't think I'd be able to cope with going to a physical shop because I'd lose my rag with people who weren't social distancing.
Online shopping only makes sense if you make considerably big purchases, otherwise small ones aren't really worth it.
PhilipMarc You normally only have to spend £40 and I'll do that on wine.
You're obviously a Covid denier, so you keep on going out and do what you doing until someone close to you gets it/dies.
We'll soon see how your attitude changes after that.
Ha ha yes mainly by old people who pretend they are all nicey nicey but smash you in the ankles
I once hade to intervene in a shop some guy was getting very aggressive towards a young shop assistant who was petrified I could not believe anyone would talk to a young girl like he did I lost my shift and trew him out
I hate trolley rage!! It’s one if the reasons I don’t go shopping any longer.. all done online these days. People can be so rude and impatient!!
PhilipMarc Most civilized people would adhere to the rules of a civilized government, but looking at your past comments, you don't give a
Maybe I've mixed you up with someone else, but I don't think so.
Ive experienced it from someone else, i was once at a checkout and a guy nearly took me to the floor with his trolly as he was so impatient and couldnt give me a minute to collect my change from the cashier.
Last week I saw sanitiser rage. An older lady wasn't happy to wait until the person in front sprayed her trolley etc before beginning her supermarket shop, she was really rude and inpatient
A couple of years ago went into a shop a little old woman stated shouting and hitting conveyor belt demanding that rather tall shop assistant who was on his own go with her to look at something at back of shop when he had rather long queue.
My pet hate when I had small children in trolley was people who moved your trolley with child so they can get to an item
No, but that’s usually because I don’t use trolleys. Sometimes people aren’t aware of how much space they take with them, and that can be annoying
I witnessed some rage on Sunday afternoon in a M&S Simply Food store when security and staff tried to apprehend a shoplifter going out the door. There was a brief scuffle and he managed to escape dropping some of his spoils as he went.
