angelik I read of mice and men when I was a teenager as it was assigned to me for my GCSE. I took it home with me and read it all on one day, it was brilliant

Glitterandgold That's lovely, for me it was my mum and my brothers reading to me all the time when I was little that got me into books

Jane Eyre or Pride and Prejudice. I never get bored of them. I've read them multiple times, watched all the different films and tv adaptations. Absolutely love them.

My favourite book is probably Ghost World by Daniel Clowes. It so poignant for me because we all think that growing up is exciting when we’re in our teens. But the real world has a way of sucking the fun out of that.

You may want to consider joining a book club, there are a lot on line and will make you read books you wouldn't consider.

I can't think of my favourite book as there are too many that come to mind, I love crime, sci-fantasy, romance you name it I read it, except horror as I'm a scardy cat.

If you haven't got time to read, audio books are great, I used to listen to them when my son was young and I didn't have time of energy to actually read.

I couldn't pick a favourite book just as I couldn't choose a favourite film or album. My favourite genre of books would be music biographies. I'm currently reading 'It Takes Blood And Guts' by Skin (of Skunk Anansie)

Picking a favourite book is so difficult, it changes all the time. My first favourite book was Passion, Louise Bagshawe

The best book I have read in a long while is Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. Everyone I know who has read it agreed (all women though).

Audrey Niffenegger The Time Travellers wife. I loved the book so much. The film was awful.

There are a few contenders, but it might be, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. A real classic.

The Phantom Tollbooth was my fave book as a kid but not read it for years. I remember watching the film in school too, I might have to find that and give it a watch later on
