Fears over Cancer-Causing Forever Chemicals Found in Fruit and Veg

In the News

Well this is worrying.. How do we know what is "healthy and safe" to eat anymore? Says in this article that toxins known as "forever chemicals" are in the pesticides sprayed on our "meant to be healthy" fruit and veg. Does it even matter what we eat anymore? I even heard eating organic isn't much of a difference.

Anyone with a brain must wonder why cancer rates keep rising (now one in two) It can only be due to what we eat, drink, use on our bodies, breathe in. Until governments and big companies stop looking the other way the rate will continue to rise. As families we can help by not feeding our kids processed muck, rubbish junk food etc. Use water filters etc.

I have mentioned this film before, I think everyone should watch it. Dark Waters, starting Mark Ruffalo, true story. Image

I grow all our own potatoes, and all our vegetables come from my father in laws allotment, we do buy some fruit, so this is worrying

This is a really big worry, we all assumed a good wash would remove most traces of pesticides , but now we are being told 'forever chemicals' cannot be removed and will be ingested

I believe this will be the next big scandal , these peticides are causing cancers in the young and old all over the world

Wow that’s such a shock. We’re always being encouraged to eat more fruit and veg.

I've been joking for years that media will next be saying carrots will give you cancer. Not a surprise. Especially with all the chemicals that get used on the growing of them in intensive farming.

Those saying it's a shock. It really isn't. Intentive farming uses pesticides. To be able to meet demand and survive on the low wage farmers have to grown intensively to get a half decent wage
