Can't remember the last time it rained here , lawns cracking , everything dry as a bone . So much for April showers bringing May flowers

Yes the gardens are getting very dry. I bet it will rain all next week now lol.

, nothing in the forecast . I know what you mean though , as soon as we water the garden it chucks it down . Maybe I shouldn't have tempted fate . on the golf course the next 3 days .
Hope it's doing OK , never could get a pond right . Spent hundreds on fish, filters etc never worked for me ☹.
Golfforall I think it's fair to say I'll never be rich while I have a pond.
Filter box, pumps, air filter, and choosy fish that won't eat cheap fish food.
We have done the same, it is so dry here, and usually is, so the hose came out for both the veg and flowers! (Not every day though, we can't afford that)
We have three water butts but they’re nearly empty now and I’m saving the water for the blueberries. I’m trying to manage on the hot tap runoff and other kitchen water but did put the hose on to top up the pond.
