No reverse discrimination, no ifs, no buts.

We have to bring an end to this nonsense.
My daughter in law's brother was recently refused a job (highly qualified professional) on the grounds that he was unable to fill their diversity quota as he wasn't gay, disabled or of ethnic origin. The interviewer told him he was the best candidate!
Positive discrimination is something that is not spoken about when this happens. Always the best person should get the job regards of any quotas!
I personally class as disabled now, but I never personally use this on my applications as I just would not want to declare this. I have an invisible illness, but I think it goes against candidates in the City if it is declared.
I tend to believe that there has been a lot of discrimination in this area and businesses are only just being called out on this. It happens and goes unreported unfortunately.

Lynibis I have a relative who has a very well to do job working for the home office in London & hes spoken about diversity quota at times. I think its frankly insulting to be given a job based on a quota that needs filling, to both parties. Its reverse discrimination.
