Gift Vouchers
Ask a Question
Do you appreciate a gift voucher as a present or do you prefer when someone buys you a gift? Personally I love a voucher as I love bargain hunting and can usually get a better deal especially on LD!
Well to me a gift is a gift I appreciate any thing. I do love a gift voucher though. Usually when people give me money I put it towards kids stuff so vouchers I'm in no doubt to use it on what it's intended
Not a fan of vouchers at all. A few of the vouchers i had became redundant when the retailers went bust - i try to use them as soon as i get them, but sometimes I get given vouchers for retailers I donβt normally shop at
I do, yes however - with companies going under nowadays a lot of folks have lost money with having vouchers and the businesses going under you don't get your money back if it gots wrong
Im happy with a gift voucher. My sister usually gets me hotel vouchers for my birthday which i use and are really thoughtful
I absolutely love gift vouchers because then I can get exactly what I want! I get them from work every couple of months if my performance is good so Iβm used to having them now
Hi i prefer both but with gift card I really donβt want because if someone gives me I put them in safe place then forget about it when times come to spend then they goes outdated thanks
Keep them in the card section of your purse. I always carry mine in my purse or handbag in case I see something I would like whilst out.
Although it is lovely to receive a gift it is a waste of the givers money if it is neither wanted or needed, despite the thought behind it. With a gift voucher you get the best of both worlds and I have bought my granddaughter a shop4all voucher for her birthday which can be used in 150 outlets for shopping but also restaurants. I have wrapped it up inside a little pack of bath oils so she also gets a small gift to open and I know she loves baths rather than showers.
A few years ago it was considered a bit lazy or thoughtless to give vouchers instead of buying a gift but it makes so much sense to do this. Yes, I appreciate a thoughtful gift but there have many time when my acting skills have been sorely tested and I hate hurting the giver. It becomes a treat to use on the day or use at a later date.
I like both. I especially loved getting gift vouchers for my kids when they were born as i have a bit of a kids clothes shopping habit
If it's for somewhere I use a lot, sure. But it's not exactly the most thoughtful gift. I like thought going into gifts.
