Glass House inside a London Cemetery for Sale , Would You Live There ?
Ask a Question
Besides the price tag being a tad over most peoples budget this house is in Londons oldest cemetery , surrounded by the graves of some famous figures such as Karl Marx, George Michael, and the author of "Gray's Anatomy," who are buried here
Its a bit ugly being made of glass and concrete but because of the location is a fraction of the price you would pay for a similar sized property elsewhere in London
I am not sure the statement by the current owner would further encourage anyone to live there when she stated "It's got a very historic feeling to it, very calm and peaceful at the same time,"
If you could afford £7 million , would you buy it ?
Not for me that one T although as a musician I'd like to test the acoustics. If I had 8 million I'd buy a village somewhere equally remote and house all my mates for free.
If I had that much money I wouldn’t buy that house. Mind you wouldn’t get any noise from the neighbours.
Who thought a glass house was a good idea? You get no privacy at all, at least it's a supposedly quiet area, but even still.
Modern art and modern buildings are just so dull and stupidly designed.
I like this style of architecture and it's in a nice area, but I would prefer to live in other parts of London. Given some of the crazy prices for dwellings in the capital £7 million isn't too ridiculous. If you have a spare £200 million, and enough money for running costs, you could always move into this 45 room "private palace" in Knightsbridge - www.theguardian.com/money/2022/oct/08/uk-most-expensive-house-knightsbridge-for-sale-again
Its a beautiful house but I wouldn't want to live there. With 7 million I'm sure I could find another property in a more idyllic location.
It does look absolutely stunning but no way could I ever stay in that not even for free lol
Why did the estate agent valve "this house" for £7 million pounds? I would ask a potential buyer "why do you want to buy this instead of a proper house costing less money"?
