I don't get annoyed but yeah loads of people don't understand what is a glitch. Too be honest I haven't seen any decent ones for a while.

Well I got the recent Xaomi phone deal which was a definite glitch which they still honoured for up to 2 handsets per address. I wouldn't use a glitch alert from Latestdeals though as the site has a huge number of fake deals. Still a great site but its not a site that seems to understand what an actual deal is.

Don't know whether this one qualifies as a glitch https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/deals/bumper-garden-collection-72-plug-plants-999-suttons-seeds-free-pp ?

Normally when you replace the "offer code " on gardening stuff with a "Free Delivery code" the offer reverts to normal price (as you cannot stack codes on these websites ) . I removed the "offer code " substituted the free delivery code and the price stayed the same , so I ordered .

Not sure if it is a glitch ,so didn't tag it as such , but certainly a great bargain 😀.

Golfforall I wouldn’t put as glitch these seem to be popular around this time of year for same price. My point of topic was that nearly ever deal posted had glitch in whice Tom did comment and say to use word wisely or notifications will have to end.

Ann1984 I agree . I wasn't expecting it to work . Normally on Suttons ,You Garden , Thompson and Morgan etc you can use only one code . So to get free P&P you lose the original offer price . Anyway I'm happy got some lovely plants that I'll find somewhere for when these frosts finish . Its May tomorrow for gawds sake ! 🥶.

Hi thank you for your Chat post, I agree it’s frustrating when things are not “glitch” enough to be called a glitch. The definition of course is a bit grey and means different things to everybody.

We are going to build the admin-ability to turn off sending alerts for specific members who may over-use the term. For example, if someone is a bit glitch-happy in their deal titles, we’ll make it so that alerts are not sent out for that member.

They can continue to use the word as they see fit, but others who’d disagree won’t get an alert about it.

That’s the plan anyway!

Tom that’s great I have knocked alerts off for a bit anyway but am happy to share the deals I find with other members. Can I ask am I using deal stack correctly when posting a onscreen voucher and then code at checkout. Yep been here 2 years and been nervous to ask 😂.

Ann1984 It sounds like it but I haven't checked.

Personally I consider a "Deal Stack" to be when you have to combine multiple offers together.

For example,

  • Voucher code + extra coupon
  • Lightning deal + voucher code
  • Voucher code + another voucher code

However, you just want to be sure that they work, and that the two combined actually do create a bigger discount than just one.

Sometimes, whilst they'll both apply and be accepted, in reality one has just replaced the other.

Tom Yes , I've noticed that on the gardening websites . The 10% off , Free delivery etc never seem to work on "offers" . As you say you add the Free Delivery code and it replaces the offer code . That was why I was surprised when the one I posted earlier worked .
