Good Diets?
Other
I'm trying to lose weight as McDonalds is doing bad things to my body lol, can anybody recommend any good dieting products or even any good diets to go on?
I too am currently trying hard to lose weight.
In all honesty, I think those so called dieting products are a total waste of time and money, plus they are generally quite expensive. You can very well lose wait just by eating a healthy diet, cutting down on the calories and doing some exercises. If you are male, then try not to consume more than 2,000 calories per day, and if you are female then try not to consume more than 1,600 calories a day.
3,000 calories is equal to 1 lb in weight, so therefore you need to consume 3,000 less calories in a week in order to lose 1 lb of weight a week.
I hope that has helped. Good luck to us both.
Just cut out sugar for a start . Then cut down on fatty fried stuff. You may find that is enough if you also walk a bit more. Diets set you up to fail as it is unlikely that they can be maintained for long. Just cutting out a couple of bad things means you don't have to be consciously dieting for long periods, just a small change for life.
I find low carb diet works for me. I don't follow any diet really. I just cut my calorie intake by having carbs only one day a week and alcohol only at the weekend. works well
I agree with this statement I generally follow a low carb diet and it does wonders for me. However you really do have to find out what works best for you!
yes that is very true not everyone can use the same diet. you do need to have exercise and lower calorie intake combined
Dieting products and crash diet aren't a good idea as you tend to put the weight back on soon after. Eating healthier food will work and keep you from the yo-yo effect. Lots of fibers makes you feel full for longer which helps cutting down sugary or salty snacking. And replace any sugary drinks by water or tea good luck on your weight loss! Oh, don't forget a bit of exercise too, even if it's only walking.
oh.. I forgot to say just because you eat healtier doesn't mean you cut down on exercise because if you hardly
exercise eating healthy puts less weight on you but still putting it on just abit less .
You have to keep exercising and lots and lots of water
Using olive il instead of butter on bread is a much healthier option olive oil is also great with salads.
