Hayfever Tablets That Actually Work?

So I developed hay fever in May of last year and since then have had trouble finding antihistamines that actually work. I have read that hay fever season settles down in late July, but not with me. My symptoms are just as bad now as they were back in June.

So I was wondering what some of the best antihistamines are? Preferably something that doesn't cost all that much.
