Hayfever/Allergy Tablets? What Do You Take?

Ask a Question

So what's the better one between cetirizine and loratadine?

I've been taking cetirizine for a little while, but they don't seem to be helping much.

Has anyone had any experience with loratadine?

Loratadine is the best in our family. All of us (4 adults) take loratadine in the season of hey fever or when we are having allergies. We have been taking this brand for years now and it is very effective.

I have been using lidl brand of hay fever and allergy relief. They are cetirizine hydrochloride ones and seem to work the trick. The ones I take are 10mg - maybe you need to up your doseage

LeighReidAtanas I'm on the highest dose allowable at the moment.

Maybe I'll try switching to loratadine.

I have awful hay fever and I find the Sainsbury's own brand of hay fever is the only thing that does the trick for me. Hope this might help? Not sure which one they are (cetirizine or loratadine). 😊
