Heated Socks
Ask a Question
Not sure if anyone can help on this one. My mum has severe arthritis and Reynaud's Disease. With the cold she is in agony with her feet. We have warm thermal socks, hot water bottles, an electric blanket etc but I was thinking about getting her the rechargeable heated socks. Problem is they're very expensive like the ones I've seen are £80. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these? Any reviews? Are they worth it?
I genuinely have not heard of them so can't give any feedback on those but they do sound like something that would ease the pain. I also don't know of these exist but how about heated slippers for home? Would they not work, would they be cheaper? I don't know the answers but just a thought
ch7leach Thank you I haven't heard of heated slippers so I'll take a look. I just need something for when she's at work as well
DanielleMcK1992 looks like Amazon have a number for under £10, certainly cheaper than the socks you were thinking about.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm near to hitting 250k points which means I'll get a £50 Amazon gift card and while I'd not mind donating it for your mother to get heated socks (you'd need to pay the remaining) or a heated blanket, this is the internet so I'm skeptical as there's always grifters.
If you'd want it for your mother and LD staff could help verify it's genuine, I would happily give it away.
PhilipMarc thank you so much i honestly don't know what to say that's incredibly kind of you but i couldn't possibly accept it. I've spoken to my Dad and we're going to both put to it and get her them for Christmas. Honestly thank you so much for the offer xx
I had a pair and they helped alot the only thing wrong I would say is they were quite tight around the ankles. But I’m Amazon they often do free returns. The soft foot warmers do look good
As your mother feels the cold, rather then invest in socks I can recommend a heated throw. They're inexpensive to run.
I don't usually post deals from Amazon Market Place sellers as I can't verify their customer services but if you re happy to buy from them then these ones are £5.29 with free delivery.
pato I thought that was a typo, but with the discount enabled that's how much it costs.
Does take 7-15 days so it's not from the U.K., still, I ordered anyway.
Thanks.
pato I tried ordering another set, but the price was fixed.
Cool glitch price. Hope it'll be worth using it.
You could try usb heated insoles, which are around £20 or so on Amazon. I’ve not used them myself, but I’ve a heated jumper that’s fab. I expect them to perform similarly. Just check reviews
