What Do I Get My Daughter for Her Engagement?

my daughter has just got engaged she 27 my only child and I’m not going to lie the beating of my heart. I’m a nurse not loaded like his parents and I wan’t to give them a present something unique not champagne etc . I need ideas pls help
I must admit I didn't think folk gave gifts for engagements, just a card and maybe a party, could you host a buffet at home. Enough is spent on wedding presents let alone engagement. However, Crystal champagne flutes would be nice, boxed. You don't say if they already live together. If not then I am sure anything for the future home would be good, if they do then an experience gift card for afternoon tea, dinner, night away, day out.
Do they have a home together? A card and something for their home. Photo frames for future wedding. Engagement drinking glasses. Coasters engraved or something.
As they live together how about a weekend away so they can celebrate in style which they will always remember.
My parents never got us a gift when we got engaged, nor did my in laws. We got cards but not gifts. Why don't you offer to buy her wedding shoes or her wedding earrings. Then she has something special for her day. Or take them out to dinner.
