Home Made Fish Fingers
Ask a Question
Hi, I am like cooking healthy food for my toddler and I was thinking of doing fish fingers in the oven. As I will make a big batch I would like to freeze some but my question is do I freeze them after cooked and next time just reheat it? I don't know if the ones you buy in the shop are already cooked. I am confused.
It might be an American site but still a good site that might help answer your question https://dontwastethecrumbs.com/homemade-fish-sticks-freezer-friendly/
When I make fish goujons, fish cakes or monk scampi I just freeze them on a tray separately and when they are frozen I bag them or put them in a box and just cook them as I need them. If you freeze them separately they don’t stick together. I personally wouldn’t cook before freezing, hope this helps
