Home Tester Club

Help

Hi there, I have been a member of home tester club since January and I have been applying for product tests each time they come up and I’m never selected 🤔 is there something I’m doing wrong? All my social network accounts are connected etc I just don’t understand why I never get a chance?

I joined them last year. I'm either on my 2nd or 3rd test from them that arrived a couple of days ago. I apply for everything they list and I've only had a couple of things from them. I enter for everything and their comps and the odd survey in return for a prize draw etc and I've had 2 lots of toothpaste... can't think of anything else. I think you will have to keep trying. There was a lot of garden products up and I really am a gardener, but did I get any? No. I was miffed about that. Just keep trying and sooner or later you will get a product.

When it comes to dodgy product tester sites, I think Bzzagent is iffy. When you sign up it appears you get something to test that normally costs about £1 in the shops, then after that it is all surveys, surveys. They want so much info from a person but once that first test is done, that's it, but the surveys continue. Home tester are pretty select but no more than say the Insiders. I've done 2 for them. There's one beginning with T, Trnd they are called. I signed up with them, done the surveys and really had to sell myself to try and get something and so far nothing. It's nearly been a year with them. The key is to sign up with as many as possible and that way your chances increase. I used to bitch and moan about phillips product testing as I never even got shown a product to even register for! Nothing. Then one day an iron appeared to register for. Well, I had no notice and a courier bought me an iron that was over £200! I couldn't believe it. I never thought I'd get anything from Phillips but I did eventually. Just hang in there and keep trying.

I feel this same about buzzagent but I never got anything to test from them beside surveys!

For me the worst is Toluna though. I took endless survey, boring as hell for at least 20 minutes. Received confirmation with congratulations you been chosen to test 5 sport supplement brands, make sure you are not on holiday at that time etc. and nothing I chased them for it for about a week and they come back to me with: "the information regarding your personal data was unclear. As it was very important for the client that the products were properly delivered, the product hasn't been sent to you" 😂 Seriously? They could even contact me to ask or let me know that something went wrong! Disgusting!

Marlena Ah Toluna! I thought they had stopped doing product tests as the section on their websites has gone but they are the ones who sent me 4 sweets in a bag the other week after I completed a survey. Back when they did have product tests on a page to apply for I got sent a mascara which was completly dried up. 100% dead. I had trouble getting the brush out of the tube. I emailed them and they replied with a 'so? Just write that on the product review' response. They didn't give a monkeys! So I posted on this thread that they set up that the product was completely unusable and went in the bin. Looking at the other comments I was not alone in being sent a years old dried up mascara. Who knows where they got those from. I'll repost my sweets in a bag photo as that has to be the funniest product test of 2018 thus far. Image
