Icelands Now Selling Scrambled Eggs Pre-Make

News

I just though I would share this with you. Just been reading that icelands is selling packs of pre-make scrambled eggs. The packet is in the chilled for £.1.50. And it takes just 90 seconds in the microwave.

What ever next. Boiled eggs that you can warm up. I could see that. I still love to make scrambled egg. More taster and better for you. What do you think about this. Would you try it. Or do you still make it. I would not try it.🥚🥚🥚

It's a good thing for lazy people or those who are less dextrous, but I can't imagine it will taste very nice unless they also add artificial flavouring. I'd try it once just to see what it's like, but will always prefer it freshly made.

There will come a day when there will be no such thing as a decent home cooked meal. I am very cynical about the food industry. Yes, pre made scrambled egg is a really lazy and pathetic thing to be selling but they know there will be enough lazy, pathetic people who will buy it and thus another money maker. For goodness sake you could make scrambled egg in 90 seconds if you go for it, 3 minutes max!

You are right about people being lazy. I will all ways make it fresh. Think now days people do not know how to cook. When I was a school we were told how to make meals bake. Boil egg. But now you do get it told to you. You can choice to do it or no. And I think that's were the promble is. When the lefted school they do not know how to cook. Then they pick the easy way out. Microwave all the time. Which can't be good for them.🎈

Musclefood's been doing these for a while; I don't really see the point either.

I guess it's good for those with disabilities, but in general I think some people are becoming lazier and lazier. I mean, how hard is it to do a scrambled egg? xx

Making scrambled egg is very easy to make. I love doing it. I some times put CHEESE and ham and that's lovely. 🌻🌻🌻

Lol I read that. Can’t imagine it tasting good as I’ve tried scrambled in the microwave before - it’s still extra runny, even if you zap it (the outer bit is overdone, but inner parts are wet and icky). The only eggs I think come out well from the microwave was poached eggs

I've never cooked scrambled eggs in the microwave. I do mine in a saucepan. The old fashion way. I some times put CHEESE ham mushroom in. It's lovely.🦉🦉🦉

Not really surprised as you can already buy pretty much everything ready made. Won't be wasting my money on prepackaged scrambled eggs either! Always cook my scrambled eggs in the microwave.
