Ideas for 4 Year Old Boy Birthday Presents
Ask a Question
My sons birthday is coming up and i really need ideas, what to get him for a birthday present.
My 4 year old nephew loves bath bombs - I found these lovely sets and used Amazon vouchers to get them
BODY & EARTH Handmade Bath Bombs - 6pcs Bubble Bath Fizzies Spa Kit, Ocean, Vanilla, Strawberry, Bath Bombs for Girls,Boys, Teen www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089NPBSB8/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_JQCQRVFV4D7DKQZD2MQY_0?_encoding=UTF8&pldnSite=1&psc=1
Unfortunately just realised those are currently unavailable, however I’ve also bought Primark ones and they’ve been well received! Most if not all are £1 each and they have some fun designs - all cruelty free too
My son loves playing with water so his grandparents got him a water table for his birthday from Home Bargains. He absolutely loves it. Or what about an interactive learning table? Helps them with the alphabet, numbers, has different sheets to put on the table to learn about animals, school etc. What kind of stuff does he like? Our son is obsessed with cars, so anything car related and he is delighted.
4 is a awesome age. My son liked his bike, scooter, water table, football, dressing up stuff (batman, spiderman ect) when he was little. There's also remote control cars, toy trains and tracks. Art and craft stuff like playdoh and paint. Bubble machines are usually a good one especially in summer.
What about an outdoor water table/sand pit, balance bike, scooter I suppose the list is endless really. Something my son played a lot with was the Brio wooden train set and it was added to for Birthday's Christmas etc.
There was a similar post but for a 6 year old not long ago. So I will post what I posted there (changing the 6 year old bit to 4 year old) as I feel it is still relevant.

'Have you looked on the Wicked Uncle website? You can select your preferred gender and age for recommendations.
The Works bookstore usually have some great gifts as well as good offers on books.
The trouble with recommending for someone else's child, without knowing what they are like or if they have any interests it can be quite difficult. Not all 4 year olds have the same skills either. It would also massively depend on your budget.
Some ideas:
Bicycle, scooter, skateboard, pogo stick with helmet.
Magnetic building blocks/tiles.
Word/number games (we recently got our nephew some David Walliams ones)
Board Games.
Skill toys like yo-yos or diablos.
Books - Where's Wally or similar if they haven't got them already or World Record books)
Clothing.
Instrument of some kind or just a walk on piano.
Learn a new skill, like a magic set.
Colour in Duvet Colour, Tablecloth, clothing etc. (Eat Sleep Doodle, do some fab products)
Sylvanian families.
Den building kits (The Den Kit Co are good, so I've heard)
Jigsaw puzzles.'
LEGO usually goes down well.
This LEGO CITY Wildlife Rescue set (Age 4+) is excellent value at £20 - half price with free delivery (RRP £39.99).
