I think it's fairly important.

We do more and more online, as these lockdowns have shown us.

There are fewer things more frustrating that web pages not loading, or Netflix buffering every couple of minutes.

I think it is pretty important these days. So many activities are done online now, and whether you work from home or not, you need a reliable connection with good internet speed.

Important for me. Kids do homework by using the internet. I do my food shop online. My kids are always downloading things

We did consider this when we moved to a rural area 6 years ago but decided the trade off was worth it. Since then cables have been updated and we now have FTTH so our connection is great now. It's the mobile signal that's really cr*p.

Incidentally, I take it your son knows that you can check the internet capabilities on Rightmove as details are on the page for each property.

This is essential for me as I work from home. If I can’t access the internet at a good speed I get a lot less work done.

You need a good speed for multiple streaming. So if you have a big family you need high speeds to cope with the demand.

If you work from home and have a need for high speeds then it’s also very important specially for faster work.

Depends.

To stream (YouTube, Netflix, HBO, Hulu, etc), download and upload (send a file to someone whether MBs or GBs) you'll want an ISP pack that's at least "good" enough.

Yes, it’s important. I’ve no patience and I’m now used to a certain level of speed - anything slower, I just wouldn’t bother going online

Often people pay for fast internet not realising they don’t really get it. It has got something to do with location, the way of connection (wire or fibre) etc

There are ways to check it. The seals men on the phone won’t mention it tho for obvious reasons xx
