ITV Comps Free Postal Entry?

Ask a Question

Can anyone help me please? Are ITV competitions free to enter by post? i see sometimes that they say ‘free postal entry’ & other places saying ‘sufficient posted must be paid?’ I’m so confused 🤔 Does anyone know?

Thank you 😊

I’m not sure but I suppose it’ll tell from the address if FREEPOST or not otherwise it’s kind of free to enter online anyway.

You just need a normal first or second class stamp on a normal sized envelope, and put your name and number in the envelope. So you just have to make sure the stamp is the correct size for the envelope and that is the only charge 🙂

Thanks AliceBell64468 - I was getting so confused as i see it so many times on here, 'free postal entry' so assumed it meant it was free to post! x

I never use this method to enter competitions. Given how much stamps cost it's not exactly 'free'. Plus, I have doubts if anyone ever wins from a postal entry, as someone at ITV would have to manually enter or scan your details to go with the paying entrants ✉️

Thanks for sharing your thoughts ACR yes that’s very true! Would be interesting to know if anyone actually wins via postal. can get very expensive entering the other ways! 🤞

This is a link to where the full details can be found:https://www.itv.com/terms/competitionsandvotes/generalcompetitionvoteandpolltermsandconditions

Basically to answer this query the details can be on a stamped post card or on (or in) an envelope. The postage must be paid by the entrant. It is entrance to the competition that is FREE (not the postage).
