Just released to view on their App via email today, a very good cause and nice message.imho
Very different from their usual ones but I actually really like it, I was trying to guess the end and maybe his own child was coming for Christmas so it was a lovely ending.
We only started skating last year and can definitely relate to the guyβs learning journey!
How many millions of pounds did John Lewis spent on nonsense such as an advert about Christmas? I have a John Lewis/Waitrose loyalty card and it is useless for getting a discount on anything.
As a Christmas Ad personally I think it's pretty poor and not up to JL's usual standard. Apart from throwing in a Christmas tree there's nothing really Christmassy about it .
I love the message behind it, this time of year we are bombarded with materialism so this ad makes a nice change
