Just Water Challenge

Ask a Question

Is anyone doing the ‘just water’ challenge this month? Basically, all you can drink for the entire month is water - no teas, no coffees, no fizzy drinks...just plain and simple water

Im not doing it, but it’ll save me quite a bit of money this month if I do 😜

How much more of these monthly trend things are we going to have?

"Veganuary", "Dry January"... and what is this one going to be called - "Wateranuary"?

😂

Lol there’s indeed a lot out there. I guess January is a month where everyone wants to change to set themselves up for the year

hspexy It's like being back at school and beginning a new exercise book. You start off with really neat handwriting, and it gets messier as the year goes on. 😃

Nope Im not doing it. Jan is a pretty boring month as it is. I don’t ever follow any of these trends for a moth either they aren’t for me

Absolutely no way could i stick to this even if I tried, haven't even got the willpower to stick to a diet for more than a few days, and I would have to have my morning coffee each day.

I don't drink alcohol. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fizzy drinks are an occasional treat so I would manage this no problem.

Not me. I have to start my day with coffee although I did give that up for a few weeks. Instead I had hit lemon convinced myself it was doing me good, which I’m sure it was but sad to say I’m back to coffee again.

I know that for some, that cup of coffee in the morning is a simple joy that cannot be replaced by anything ‘healthy’ lol

I LOVE water ....(Our Scottish water is the best) but it has to be in a nice glass with tons of ice....and a slice of lemon or lime ...of course on a friday or sat its replaced with Pepsi Max and vodka... 😁

I love my tea too much to go a whole month without it

I do drink a lot of water, but I still wouldn't consider cutting out tea or coffee for a month. I don't really buy fizzy drinks, so that's not an issue. I'm really getting tired of all these abstinence months. Why can't it ever be eat more chocolate January or bigger portions September I'd sign up for them 😉

I barely have any energy to do my housework let alone any trends! The thought of no coffee to keep me going scares the **** outta me lol

I don't understand people saying they don't like water, it's just water has no taste so can't be liked or disliked. I have one milky coffee when I get up and water the rest of the day. However I have recently caught on to the benefits of turmeric so have the odd turmeric tea bag with a slice of lemon when I fancy a hot drink.
