We need acts like these to outweigh all the awful things that are going on in this world, it is good to hear of a mother who was moved by another mother's plight and was able to help.

This is heartbreaking, there are so many people in this situation and its completely wrong!

I was on twitter last night and came across a post from a guy who is ex military and he was struggling to afford food...a friend of his had bought him some shopping and he was so grateful.

If you have twitter just have a read of his post(s) - honestly it broke my heart. Nobody should be facing these problems. Image

Wonderful donation but feel such situations are going to be much more common in the future as we become a much poorer country and the interest on national debts take even more of our income.

I always thought Social Services was responsible for this sort of thing. I am so pleased that Kate Winslet stepped in. Good luck to the daughter and I wish her well. Thank you, Kate Winslet.
