Lack of Shoppers on Boxing Day?

There wasn't a lot of people shopping in Westfield today, certainly not as busy as it has been in previous years - but I’m glad as it meant less chaos and fighting
Can it be blamed on Black Friday? I doubt it, as most of the issues is that the discounts doesn’t ever seem generous enough, certainly not enough to get people to navigate patiently around the crowds
I think people are getting wise to the sales and realising getting into dete is not worth it food and roof over your head more important
I hope so. The sales really aren’t worth it, as it’s mainly tat the shops couldn’t shift at Xmas, and the first phase of the sales are always a con
Black Friday is likely to be a factor. Personally, I do most of my sale shopping online. I've never seen the appeal of getting up very early on Boxing Day to queue outside a shop in the dark.
Lol and even less appealing when it’s cold and rainy. Definitely only worth a trip if you are nearby
Why would one go out? You can browse online and sit at home for delivery too. It was an IN day in our household
Mum and I always used to go to the boxing day sales. I would spend my Christmas vouchers and mum would get cards, wrapping paper and presents for birthdays during the year. We haven't been for a few years now. We tend to wait a few days and go then.
I get enough bargains all year round and with the ease of online shopping there is no need to go out in all the chaos on boxing day
