LEGO Going Green!

Ask a Question

Lego have released an extensive range of Lego sets, aimed at all ages and whatever your interest.

During Amazon Prime Day, I managed to get a bargain on a Lego Star Wars Scout Helmet. I seem to buying more and more Lego for my grown up son 😃

So, I welcome Lego plans to make bricks from recycled bottles.

Do you think this is a good thing or do you think that it is changing a classic brand ?

People will say even thought it’s recycled it’s still plastic. But there’s enough plastic to recycle to keep it around for a while. I loved Lego. My sister still has all the Lego from when we was a kid stuck in her attic.

Then using recycled plastic is obviously better. But the hardcore people will want plastic to be gone. Image

I nearly bought one of those bust heads. I don’t even like Star Wars really. I just like the Lego and the heads. Image

My son said you had to pay attention as they were hard as they were all the same colour, it took him hours. I like the architecture sets

Although they must take hours to put together 🙂

I think it’s great if they can make it all from recycled plastic instead of making new plastic. It’s better than making more plastic.

This is a great idea to make the bricks out of recycled plastic. As it is, Lego is such good quality that it isn’t often thrown away. It’s the cheap plastic toys that break easily that are the real problem in my opinion.
