Canada would be amazing, somewhere secluded in a big log cabin.

Jersey would be my choice. Only millionaires can afford to buy there unless you were born there. Beautiful island with a M&S.

Not true only millionaires afford to buy. A lot of those born in jersey are leaving due to cost. Not just owning a house is expensive but so is renting. Food is more expensive and so is trying to go on holiday. The cost of living is pushing people out. Some have to choose between having a family or buying a house you can't afford both if you are a normal person. Childcare costs are horrendous because of overhead costs like renting the space for it. I live in jersey. We've a lot of hidden poverty cos the government and finance sector doesn't want to admit there's a problem. Our council housing is a private company that charges a fortune for rent. Some of the places for rent isn't up to the standards of keeping animals in. 10 years we were paying £1200 for a 2 bed flat that was moldy I spent 6 months a year moving furniture to spray bleach on it.

I know this is for fun but even if I could I wouldn't live abroad unless my whole family came with me. So, I would be perfectly happy to live in a cottage in the country in England with a small manageable garden but near enough to medical facilities (have to think of that as you get older!)

America. It has got everything into one place if I ever needed anything. Jobs, tourist attractions, weather in various states.

I would choose Italy as it has a bit of everything. Mountains, hot summers, beautiful beaches, lakes, history and great food and wine

It’ll have to be somewhere tropical and remote, far away from anywhere else

I've heard New Zealand has a great standard of living but I've never been. I would quite like to live in Europe (Italy/ Spain/ France) or Australia for the sunshine, but I don't fancy being around the creepy crawlies.

I'd like to spend a reasonable amount of time somewhere to immerse myself in the culture etc maybe a couple of months but wouldn't want to live there permanently. I'd like to do that in Japan, Italy, India, Canada, Australia and probably a few others. I'd want to do a lot of cycling so that might limit where I can go as some countries aren't very cycling friendly.

Maybe Bali. I have never been but heard that it is just incredible especially for someone like me who is very spiritual.

I'd happily stay in my home town. In a nice house with a large garden for a few dogs .🐶🐕
