Sun, Mar 26, 2023 1:00β€―AM - Sun, Oct 29, 2023 2:00β€―AM. Good news - it also means an extra hour in bed. An easy way to remember which way the clocks change is to think of the seasons: in spring the clocks 'spring forward', while in autumn they 'fall back'.

TiaTia so we are getting one hour less sleep , not more when they spring forward.

It’s actually an hour less in bed in March unless you go to bed an hour earlier than normal 😊

β€˜In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October.’

Sunday 26th March 2023 or if you go to bed before midnight when it changes to Sunday, any clocks that manually need changing can be changed Saturday evening.

You want to be moving them an hour forward, which means we feel like we’ve lost an hour of our day, but I’m sure your dogs will get you up their usual time anyway, as their stomachs will be telling them it’s breakfast time, no matter the time change πŸ˜†

Summer's getting closer which is good news so as people don't have to rely on gas/electricity for that.

My clocks tend to automatically update, except my clock radio (I just press a button and changes to/non DST).

I might be a good idea for people with children to start accustoming the children to the rapid change by putting them to bed 10 minutes earlier every couple days so that they'll still be tired at their normal bed time once the lighter nights hit.

I honestly can't wait I'm missing going out for a stroll on an evening after work. I've hate not seeing any day light when I'm working during the winter. It's really difficult, feeling so much more positive now I'm getting a snippet of light before work.

It doesn't make any difference to me - March or October - on a Sunday morning.

I just got back from Australia, I missed the snow but should have timed it better that I came back next week. So looking forward to the lighter mornings and evenings.

I'm looking forward to it purely so I don't have to have the heating on and can keep the lights off for longer.
