Lovely Hot Sunny Weather We Are Having

Other

At last I've got lovely hot sunny wearther hear in the highlands of Scotland. I've been in lock Down now for 12 weeks now and not looking to go out at all. I've been haveing my breakfast, dinner, and tea out in the garden. And just in enjoying my self. And for getting what's going on. I've just brought a very large paddling pool for my goose. And he is loving it. I know you can't go out but what have you been up to in this lovely weather. Image Image

Too hot for me, I don't like it.

It's 07:08 and I've already got the fan on.

I want a goose.

Thechimp if you want a goose you need a large garden. A padding pool a shed to keep in. And corn to feed him and lots of cuddles and time spent with him. πŸ€—

Did I miss a deal for Geese? I also want one.

I love the hot weather, but the dogs are less enamoured.

I think this is the last really hot day for a bit in the South East.

nicolajaynehend TheChimp blacklabrador I/we had a goose when the kids were small, the hen hatched it from some eggs we were given, really funny as it was soon a lot bigger than 'mother' and still she tried to cover it. We had it for two years until the time it pinned my daughter aged 4 to the ground, time for gozzy to go to a new home.

nicolajaynehend Is there a way of telling before hand though?

I don't want to be going in for a hug and suddenly find Liam Geeson is waiting. πŸ˜†

Caz2 I am all so getting chicken very soon. And some more geese . My Eddie he is a very loving boy. Would not be with out him. Chicken are very easy to keep. You just need a coop to put them water and corn. Twice week clean them out. And it's the Same with a goose but all so need a piddling pool so he can have a swim. πŸ€—

nicolajaynehend Whether, and how high, cats bounce up and down depends on how hard you throw them at the trampoline or how hard the person also on the trampoline is jumping Image

This has certainly been a strange year so far. At the beginning of 2020 we were having weekly storms that caused a lot of damage around the country. February was the wettest month on record in the UK. Then May was the sunniest month on record in the UK and there are now drought fears. Although, it looks like we will be getting thunderstorms and torrential rain today β›ˆοΈ

I'm loving the sunshine, happy to potter around in the garden in the sun and have a better suntan than when I go abroad for a couple of weeks. Raining today though and so much cooler which is a welcome change, garden getting a well deserved water too.

TiaTia agreed! My grass was turning yellowish burning from the constant heat and I think this rain will help it alot! Apparently June is going to be a wet month!

It has rained here all day! I can't complain too much because the garden needed it, we've had a good couple of weeks of lovely weather and the other day it was just too hot to breathe. The humidity of yesterday has gone down.
