Making a Murderers Steven Avery

I think he may be innocent.

However, he has admitted that his first ever crime was throwing a live cat onto a fire.

Karma's a bitch, personally I hope he rots in jail.

Guilty along with his family who both helped him and his cousin cover it up!

I think he's not guilty but that's only based on what we have seen in the media and shows. We haven't seen the other side of it. The prosecution side must also have lots of evidence etc for them to have judged him as guilty. We will never know.

I'm very late to the party on this topic. I'm currently halfway through the first series. The problem is the Manitowoc County police department were accused of being untrustworthy/complicit during the 1985 trial. They had motive and the means to frame Avery (and Dassey) for the 2005 murder as they likely faced having to pay huge damages for the earlier wrongful conviction and were going to have to answer a lot of uncomfortable questions. The police department's questionable involvement in the 2005 case and their dislike of Avery adds a great deal of doubt to the legitimacy of the first-degree murder conviction.
