I'm not sure I'd bother for everyday clothes but it's a fab idea for special occasions or maybe a weekend away where you wanted to dress up and make it a bit special.

Midnightflower yes I was thinking the exact same would be ok for a wedding or somewhere special but not for everyday clothes

Midnightflower I agree. If you could afford to hire for every day clothing you can surely afford to buy and use many more times.

There are often clauses where you may have to pay for cleaning if something was spilled or even paid for if an accident made the item irreparable.

Lynibis yes totally who would hire clothes especially everyday one don't think this will be as good as they hope it to be

Lynibis yes you would probably have to pay a cleaning charge if you had an accident you would be terrified to move with it on lol

kate1310 the other thing is, if your hiring something the chances are it's been worn before and the prices are not cheap, so why not just buy second hand in the first place and get to keep the item.

Midnightflower exactly that sounds much better 😊 paying all that money to hire clothes its crazy

I would consider hiring something for a wedding or a ball, not that I go to balls.

Pjran yes I was saying the same as you would be great for a ball as you know you will never wear the dress again can't see this being a success

Marks & Spencer has joined these so called posh second-hand dress shops. No, I wouldn't rent from anyone. Just buy a little black dress and that's it.

No thanks. I don’t need anything fancy, and I could probably find something cheaper than the hire price

hspexy yes I could imagine the prices I looked at the prices for the everyday clothing god you could buy an outfit and it's yours to keep don't think it will be a success

kate1310 you’re right with that one. I understand the rich renting designer gear, but M&S isn’t a brand I’d imagine there’s much demand for

Jeez, if your wallet is that tight then just buy really cheap clothes or from a charity shop.

This goes in line with WEF's You'll Own Nothing and You'll be Happy.

Everything as a service. 😐

If it was for a fancy event then I think it could be a good idea but not for everyday items. I don't go to fancy events but if I did then I would look in charity shops first for something fancy.
