McDonald's Scraps Two CLASSIC Items from It's Menu

Just been reading this and thought I would share it with you all.
McDonald's has broken the hearts of customers up and down the country buy revealing it's cutting two CLASSIC items from the menu.
The fast-food giant will no longer serve it's delicious strawberry and toffee ice cream sundaes.
Bosses explained there decision has been made because the puddings weren't very popular
The sundaes disappeared from the menu on September and many customers are outraged they did' t get a chance to enjoy a final one.
The 99p sundaes were around long be for the chains famous mcflurries. Hit the shelves fans have taken to social media to voice there outrage at the news.
When I went to the city which was not very often because its a 400 mile trip for me. I went straight to McDonald's and got toffee ice cream sundae. Just loved them. Have to fine something else. What do you make of it all. 
They took the sundaes off the menu. So I do think there will be more taking of the menu. And this was just the start. Hope they keep your toffee lattes. That sounds very nice. Will try it next time in the city.

wish they'd have told us they were discontinuing them, I would have bought one 
I like both of them. And it was a treat when I went to the city . Which was not often . Now have to fine some thing else. Hope this is knot a start of taking other things of the menu.. would hate that. Wait and see what happens next. Like to think they had to put it back on the menu.
nicolajaynehend hopefully they'll replace them with a nice pudding. I don't like their muffins or doughnuts. Waffles or fudge cake would be amazing
Tasha042 yes a fudge cake would be nice. Or waffles with maple. Have to Waite and see what they do next. If I am right in thinking they do some thing for Christmas.
Haven't visited a McDonald's in months, tbh. Fast-food 'restaurants' are more of a temporary filler because the food they serve just doesn't do anyone any justice, I remember eating a Big Mac and then a while later I was already hungry. Same goes for Subway which is a tad better but not by a long shot.
I'd might as well eat at a cafe or home-cooked than McDonald's or whatever fast-food chain.
Not too mention it's not really healthy in the long term. I would only eat there once a month if I really had to.
Hmm....maybe they should sell the chocolate one...what they never tried, but that is really delicious and I really miss it.
It has been a very, very long time since I bought any sort of dessert from McDonalds, and from memory, they weren't that good. They have not been marketing them either, as they prefer to flog the Mcflurries, which explains why the sundaes are less popular. TBH I thought they were done away with long ago, so am actually surprised they only removed them now. Sorry to hear that for the sundae fans out there
I suspect, but can't be sure, that they'll re-introduce them as a limited time offer. For example, in the Summer months, "THEY'RE BACK! Strawberry Sundaes for 3 months only!" It's a bit of a classic marketing move.
I have only occasionally bought dessert from McDonalds, and then it was McFlurry. I enjoy sundaes, but when we rarely go it is normally when travelling, so we go the drive through and sundaes probably wouldn't be the best to eat in the car. They probably will bring them back as a limited time only sort of thing.
Oh damn it, the strawberry ice cream subdae was my fav. I never really bought the toffee ice cream flavour though, that was just rank!
Never really ate from McDonald's anyway but I would have loved the strawberry ice cream sundaes.
