Cut baby wipes in half if using them to refresh or cleanse your skin. Half a baby wipe works well. Aldi face creams are very good quality and often just as effective as more pricey brands for a fraction of the price. Primark do some lovely mini eau de parfums for £2-£3 each. They are great for popping in your handbag and the scents last well.
I was always told not to use baby wipes on my face. I use a face cloth, I personally find it much more cost effective.
jam45 I don't wear make up anymore and I wash my face in the shower, so it isn't often that my face cloth gets used. I use it once and then wash it, as I know it won't be used again for a while. Hygienic enough for me.
I prefer reusable make up pads to cotton wool. Personal preference though.
Poundland also do some great perfume dupes, my favourite is the black dusk which is a dupe for ysl black opium.
I think there is a website called beauty outlet where you can get makeup much cheaper also think they have some shops
If you pop to your local make-up counter, you can usually get free samples of foundation, Bodyshop also offer these. Usually enough for one full face or even up to a weeks worth so you can try them out properly.
DeBunny Thanks for your helpful comment. Some bonus points have been added to your account as a thank you
Halving a baby wipe lol, surely with the price of the wipes you could just spoil yourself and use it all
Never go to bed with make up on
Have a skincare routine
Moisture can't stress that enough and one to suit skin type etc.
Highly recommend Primark own brand beauty products for the following reasons: they are cruelty free, very reasonably priced and I’ve always been really pleased with the ones I’ve used (perfumes, face masks, bath bombs, dry shampoo). They do lovely perfumes that are £6 for a 50ml bottle or £2.50 for a 10ml travel size (really handy for pocket/bag). Their dry shampoo is really good and comes in two sizes - a big one and a smaller size which is handy to keep in your bag/travel. I think this is £1 for the small and £1.50 for the big one and I’ve found this to be as good as popular brands.
I also love Superdrug own brand items, also cruelty free. And especially for makeup I use and recommend Revolution, also cruelty free. Revolution often have offers on and are very reasonably priced to start with, they are good quality too.
Aldi do a lot of beauty/toiletries products which I love too - their soaps, shower gels, face wash etc are very cheap and most are (if not all) cruelty free. I used their sun cream in summer too this was also cheap and seemed good quality too.
Hi! I agree. Primark beauty is really great and I love Revolution products too. It is so good that they are both cruelty-free. X
