Mumps Cases Hit Decade High in England
In the News
Health officials are urging people to have both parts of the MMR vaccine after cases of mumps in England reached their highest level in a decade.
Outbreaks in universities and colleges raised the number of cases of the painful viral illness to 5,042 in 2019 - four times the number in 2018.
Thanks Sanitation1234 I don't think anyone is interested in mumps with all the other bugs around at the moment.
Sanitation1234 I don't think you will be making yourself very popular searching for old topics and then not taking any actual interest in them. It is wasting people's time.
Just thanking people etc. for topics they posted, sometimes months ago, is not what chat is about. If you've something to add to a topic, that's a different matter.
You must have wasted the time of several people - who if they'd wanted could have found the several old topics you've been resurrecting for themselves.
davidstockport agree this topic is like a month old and no one commented then so not going to today
Sanitation1234 I thought I'd been very nice in explaining the way I did. You know you have done this numerous times today, one topic had been dead and buried for over three months, someone had to tell you.
I'm not angry - just trying to help
Ann1984 She means well - but doesn't seem to understand what chat is about. I suspect she might not be of British ethnicity* and is not in any way intending to be disruptive.
*I intend nothing racist in saying that, and tried to word it accordingly.
