I had never heard of/or noticed that there was such a thing as National Fish and Chip day. Is it just me?
Its was first launched back in 2015
beccatavender. Yes, I knew it existed, but didn’t know the date. Perfectly timed for a Friday night treat. Saves me from having to cook dinner

I must admit the pictures look good enough to eat, we have 2 chippys where I live, so I might join you 
Saveloy, curry sauce & chips, mmm. Oh and a can of apple tango. Back in the day,
I dont like fish and chips. I like a few home made chips with gravy but not chippy ones too many too greasy 
Never paid much attention to it previously, but Poppie’s were doing a promo today...just a shame I can’t be bothered to get to one to get a meal for 10p

Just Google and found out it is a fish and chip chain down South! Never heard of them, but looks nice 
beccatavender Lol yes it’s a fish and chips chain that serves quite expensive fish and chips. I rarely go, but it’s quite popular
Every day seems to be a National day for something. Today the 5th of June is National gingerbread day as well as National Veggie Burger day and National moonshine day whatever that is. Get ready for tomorrow National yo-yo day, National eyewear day, National gardening exercise day, National applesauce cake day, the list goes on, the worlds gone mad lol
I think it's a marketing ploy, I also had an email yesterday telling me it was National Cognac day, but unfortunately no discount code 
My partner had fish and chips for this lunch, I was gutted as I wanted some, especially fish it’s my favourite
My local chippie has had erratic opening hours over the last year. I planned to get some chips for lunch yesterday, but they were closed.
Same as around my way, reduce hours and only open certain days, which can be frustrating
