Nectar Points from the Daily Mail

When I first joined the Daily Mail reward, I earned a £5 bonus plus double and triple points for buying the newspapers for seven days only. I must admit I have hardly purchased the Daily Mail since then. I might log into my account now.

I wonder if not rewarding their readers will reduce people buying this newspaper.

We started losing out when they changed from 5 points a day to this Spin the Wheel feature, I rarely got more than 2 points so I felt they didn’t want to give too much away.

I see on the new terms and conditions that if you have a print subscription, you will get 10 points each time (can’t remember what it said for digital subscribers) I originally thought we had we been losing out as I was using my own Mail account to enter the numbers rather than my Dad’s as he’s got a print subscription but when I entered in his account last night to test (he’s not got a nectar card annoyingly they closed it) you’re still spinning that wheel so the 10 points must start today. ironically he has no internet and I had to set up him print subscription up online, it made the daily price slightly cheaper and he gets sent a month worth of coupons to redeem at supermarket/newsagents/spar etc (which made no sense does it really) and he gives me the numbers to enter.

If you buy the paper everyday, I’d get a print subscription he’s paying £25.35 a month, there was an introductory offer of 3 months at half of that.

Nectar points are really great thing to earn. Love to earn more points really

Not very much, I buy the mail to do the crossword and collect points the news is just reported over and over by all the news Chanel’s so by the time I get my paper I have heard it.

Ooooo no, I collect them from work, to use at Christmas to get presents for any residents with no next of kin, it's already harder to collect points with the spin the wheel thing as it is

I don’t buy the paper but I do sometimes get given the codes to enter. Recently they had a bonus weekend and I got a £10 m&s voucher.

Has anyone got any idea if the Nectar points accumulated with the Mail are now lost forever?

I remember this being covered on here a while back but as it didn't concern me I paid no attention. Do a search above and you may find it.

I had over 12,000 points , so where are they now, collected for years and years??

Ever since this new format started I’ve had difficulty getting into it on safari.

I am receiving google chrome news messages on my lap top, they are a nuisance and I am sure they are connected to my mail nectar account.

I had over 11000 Nectar points saved which were just taken away when the other tickets came in. I dont think that it fair to say the least and want to know what you are going to do about it as i am sure there are more people who have bought the daily mails for years to save uo the points.

My mum had a mail subscription for that reason.If you get the Libby app you can read all the papers and loads of mags for free.

Pretty poor return for outlay
