On the Latest Deals website (coming soon to app) you can now filter Chat by categories or types.
For example, News articles, money-saving etc.
If you don't like a certain type of post, you can you this to hide them too.
This is a good idea if your in the mood for certain types of chat. Might also help if you want to find a chat you seen earlier, if for example you didn't have much time to join in
Hi Tom, I would like to use this new app. I read what everyone else posts on chat, but sometimes I would like to ask a question for a quick answer.
I don't think I like it, not really necessary and some chats are hard to categorise so get bunged in 'other'. Even if a chat is labelled it can go in directions that may be interesting for those who might now pass it by. I can see less contributions to chat now.
I just wanted to jump in and clarify that you've always had to pick one of the categories when sharing a chat topic. We've just added in a new option so that people can filter by category if they want to
