How about trying to win one? Many of the magazine comps are giving one away at the moment and you can enter daily.

Firstly there are many brands of Airfryers , Ninjas are undoubtedly good but can be double the price of equivalent airfryers , Swan , Tower for instance .

Having said that Ninja Kitchen (the manufacturers ) often have sales on (usually price matched by Amazon, Currys , Argos etc and there is always 2% - 10% cashback from Topcashback .

I would wait a few weeks as airfryers like electric blankets have been in short supply recently and prices have shot up in the last few months (doubled in price ) . There appears to be more stock around now so I would expect prices to drop substantially in the next month or two .

For a real bargain you need to wait till EBay have a 15% or 20% off selected sellers sale (usually 2 or 3 times a month ) . AO , Hughes and Currys often participate in them and a "damaged box" example can be had for about half the shop price ( where I go one of mine , good as new 😀) .

Most important do your research on various models ,understand what you want , get a feel for the prices (they are ultra expensive at the moment due to lack of supply ) then you will know a great price when you see it .

Most important with airfryers - buy a decent sized one . The "Compact " ones (2litres - 3 litres ) are a waste of space for anything but a small portion of chips 😒. Go into somewhere like Currys to check out the sizes (then buy elsewhere) . Remember you can't ram an airfryer full as you would a deepfat fryer . Airfryers are in fact mini fan ovens so only cook properly about a third of their volume and even then need a good shaking a few times during the cooking .

I bought a 4.3 litre one , loved it but not always big enough so I bought another 5.8 litre one , now I'm covered . They are great but understand what you are going to use it for and get a big enough one .
