Ask a Question

I am still getting my main shop on line but occasionally getting a couple of bits in store and have noticed different offers. If its same supermarket why different prices

I noticed a bottle of gin that was on offer on the Tesco website I bought wasn't on offer in store the next when I went but was still online.

Just to add I was buying the second bottle for a friend, not me 😄 I dont get through them that quick....

Haven't particularly noticed any other deals being different tho.

Prices can also vary between different types of store for the same items. For example, I often find prices in a Tesco Superstore can differ from that of a Tesco Express or Metro 🥦

I’ve never noticed differences between prices in store vs online (in supermarkets I’m assuming you mean) but i quite often plan what I want to get from the website and often the store doesn’t have the items I want...

If you notice a difference, you can always bring it up with them and they often honour the cheaper price

Imnotcheap oh thats a shame. i only move from shop to shop because i find it works out cheaper (we have a family of 7 in our home) but home bargains do have an online shop which is decently priced 🙂

I haven't been into a shop since early March! so I can't tell if there is a difference or not but in last weeks shopping I had an order for 70cl of bacardi and because they didn't have any I got a 1L for the price of the smaller bottle. What a win! 🐞

Still shopping in-store. Find it easier and convenient especially when I go between Asda and Aldi who are situated opposite each other locally

There’s three Tesco stores within less than a mile from my nearest town centre and they all have entirely different prices, and online shows a different price again for the same items. This has always been the case here. I don’t know if it still is right now though since I haven’t been to any of those stores in months, and instead shop at a local store near to my house so I don’t have to use public transport.
