Are Oodies worth the Money ?
Ask a Question
My husband and I love our sherpa blanket hoodies.
I was thinking of treating us to a proper Oodie, while they are buy 1 get 1 free.
Are they worth it ?
100% quality... I treated the whole family to one they are amazing quality and keep you so warm, to the point I have to take it off at times, my daughter lives in hers. They wash nicely too, I've not had my heating on, they are that warm x
nina090976 Thank you so much for responding.
That is brilliant. I will definitely treat us to one
Whilst they are good, you can get cheaper ones which are just as good. I've got 3 that are similar and are very cosy.
I'm loathed to say it but having tried a few of the imitators and a proper Oodie, I do think it is worth spending a bit more for the real thing. It's just warmer and better made, plus I only paid £60 ("only") for mine, which doesn't feel like too much given how much it will save me on bills and how often I wear it
They are super comfy, warms you up fairly quickly, so many designs, yes they can be pricey but they are worth it in my opinion.
They work much better skin to Oodie than clothes to Oodie.
I've seen imitations and if people are happy with them then good for them, but I love how Oodies, have the cuffs, so you can still use your hands for things, although going to the toilet wearing one can be hard as they are so big
I hate people that clearly use other companies designs and there is an avocado official one and then lots of companies use similar designs and even sometimes say 'like an Oodie' If you are going to create a product sell it on it's own, don't use other companies to profit off the back of!
People were ordering hooded jumpers from a site recently (Was it ASOS? and around £15?) and they were saying they turned up and were the official ones but with their labels cut out, but these were confirmed by someone who owns an official Oodie as rejects, as they weren't as thick or there were imperfections.
If you are looking for an official Oodie, which I swear by, then look at their bundles which work out cheaper per Oodie or discount codes. Or load up their site and wait for a pop up, they are already on offer at the moment though.
I have the Green Tie-Dye Oodie, my partner has the Panda one.
DeBunny I lived in mine over the colder months I need a blanket next, my dog needs a bed,.I love their site x
I was gifted a real one and bought a couple of dupe ones - the quality of the real one is way better, but the dupe ones do the job at a fraction of the price
My best mate bought one from Primark and raves about it, as their house doesn’t have central heating
She said it’s gotten her through the winter
I've one not worn it much but do like it. Worn my daughters as she's not fussed and would live in shorts year round
My partner bought red & white for me, blue & white for him & sent a blue & white one to our daughter at Bradford University .
I chose the design that goes right to our ankles with press studs up one side, cuffs & a belt...
Fell asleep in mine on settee through the night, woke before 7am this morning!
They are sooo warm & comfortable, our two cats love to snuggle up on me when I wear this too so extra warmth!!
I have bought cheaper but hit n miss, Primark atm I like their oodies in the nightwear section and wash well too.
I've not tried the real thing but highly recommend the ones at Primark! It's saved me putting the heating on quite a few times this past winter
