Opinions on Chamomile Tea?
Ask a Question
I’ve read that chamomile tea is meant to be good for you but before I buy it has anyone tried it? what’s your thoughts on it?
Yes I tried it many years ago after reading it’s supposed to relax you if you have a cup just before bedtime. It’s definitely an acquired taste in fact it made me feel sick!
Not a fan. It’s a very light, floral tea and I don’t care for it myself. I don’t mind camomile in lotion or fragrances, but not in what I eat or drink
I find the taste OK, it's not my favourite, same goes for fruit tea, but I have had it in my childhood so many times, as I was active, I can't say if it made me relax or not.
Anyway, don't drink it anymore kind of got bored of it.
Other herbal tea's that can relax you.
Peppermint has a nicer taste.
It may work on you, or not everyone is different.
like lavender tea & cinnamon tea...never tried Lavender but cinnamon is nice.
To be honest, I don't find it any different if I buy the ones expensive, it taste all the same to me.
My favourite tea is ginger but I prefer making it fresh, if I've got the time to, but that wouldn't relax you but will relax your stomach & help you if you have a cold. (If it's fresh)
Chamomile is sweet, but it is better with honey in it, no need to put alot, as you get right at the bottom of your tea cup it will taste alittle strange, but you can't taste it with honey.
Just give it ago...
Yes, I have heard it is good for you, my daughter drinks it and enjoys it, I stick to my green tea
Its an acquired taste, I dont mind it, As a drinker of herb teas it wouldn't be my first choice tho.
