Oscar Nominations: What Movies Have You Seen?

They announced the Oscar nominations today, I have only seen one of the films nominated, News of the World on Neflix which I enjoyed.
Have you seen any?
I noticed that the film that won a lot of Oscars - Everything, Everywhere all at once - was on Prime Video, so I stuck it on this evening.
And lasted about half an hour, I thought it was awful.
blacklabrador Gosh, I posted this topic over a year ago, I must admit the Oscars have passed me by, at least you didn't pay to see it in the cinema. I paid to see Silver Linings Playbook, it was supposed to be a black comedy, it was so depressing , one of the worst films I have ever seen. But we paid,so we stayed.
beccatavender I think I did a chat search for Oscars having watched Everything Everywhere to see if anyone else was talking about it, but didn't notice the date of your post.
Guess it beats starting a new topic on it.
I really enjoyed Everything Everywhere All at Once. I found it to be refreshingly different from the films being made by the large Hollywood studios. I thought it was a worthy winner for Best Picture, but The Banshees of Inisherin should have won at least one Oscar.
ACR I thought Banshees of Inisherin was a great film, simple and very watchable.
blacklabrador I am now intrigued about this film, so, will be looking out for it.
