Paul OGrady Left Heartwarming Sum in Will for Battersea Dogs Home

In the News

Well his series For the 'Love of Dogs' definitely lived up to its name, after he generously left £500,000 to them in his will

He donated this to Battersea Dogs Home, where he lovingly filmed each episode

I never tired watching it , he was always emotional throughout the series , showing how much he cared for animals

A charity well deserving this donation

He was a true gentleman

I wonder how much the big bosses will get out of the money

Jackscot I am sure he researched this before making his will J ,especially with his show being based there, but i do agree , some charities do take large sums out for their own costs which does deter doners

I can't say I'm surprised about this, he had such a strong emotional connection to the dogs and staff at Battersea.

I think that was part of his charm, in a world of people putting on a persona (tv) he always seemed to be very genuine.
