Where Do People Sell Their Stuff?
Ask a Question
I already know about fb marketplace, car boot sales and Ebay. Anywhere else anyone has had luck?
We use fb marketplace and gumtree primarily. FB marketplace annoys me though - my husband ended up listing a lot of things and he got a lot of requests for him to deliver things personally or to post. He doesn't always ask to be reimbursed postage/fuel either depending on how nice he's feeling! We've had most luck on gumtree - generally always list £5/£10 higher than we ideally want as people always turn up and want to knock a bit off.
I haven't used gumtree. I tried checking for my products in there and there wasnt many so I thought maybe they wont sell well...perhaps I'll give it a try as its free.
Carboot sales is an good way to sell household items such as clothing and electricals.
PRELOVED is similar to Ebay
I use fb and car boot mainly but i have sold quite a lot on gumtree. Depop is quite good aswell, although ive probably bought more than ive sold on there
What's depop? Is that like another neighbourhood local app? can I sell new things on there?
There's fb marketplace, Gumtree, preloved, shpock, depop, vinted. You can also sell things on amazon marketplace.
Try to sell it from Fb sell groups, gumtree and Shpock apps and Fb is having great groups to make sell it soon
I hate it so much on fb when someone says they will collect and then they either dont come or they cant come at a certain time
I was doing Facebook marketplaces but Iv got fed up with people mucking me around! If it's small value I give it to charity - high value eBay.
