How do you wait until you wash your hair after dying it? I read that you shouldn't do it the same day but I don't like the texture when I do it.

I don’t dye my hair anymore but when I used to I would just rinse the dye out and then use conditioner twice and wait until the next day to wash!

I have recently died mine I always tone down in winter. I don't wait I wash as normal but when you die it use the conditioner that comes in the hair colouring box and leave on for 3 mins then rinse until water runs clear. I wash mine 3 days after being died and its fine.
