Do You Have Pets?
Ask a Question
Do you have any pets?
Are you allowed to have any by your landlord / letting agency?
How much does it run having your pet per month/week?
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think people are going to show more of an interest in the topic if you were to give your own views on the questions you are asking, otherwise it feels as if we are doing a survey rather than contributing to a conversation.
Yes a cat. He is 20years old so is expensive as is on alot of medication and has to have a special diet. But I love him and he is worth every penny (I am 27 so rarely remeber a time when I didnt have him) he costs over £100 a month in food alone.
Vet Bill's are about £60 a pop if he needs his bloods doing that's another £150
If you are thinking of getting one than having pet insurance is a must.
And please remeber pets are for life, not just while they are cute and little.
Some may need surgery and that can cost thousands. You have to be willing to understand that before making a commitment
20 wow! My cat was 18 when he died and I really miss him. I thought he lived a long age. Can you post a picture Bri92?
I have a lively & energetic 9 year old Jack Russell called Marty. We have been lucky so far in regards to his health as apart from him getting a ear infection every year (allergy) hes fit & well & full of beans. That's very possibly going to change as he gets older. I'd also recommend pet insurance or at least putting money in a savings account as vets fees are VERY expensive. Food wise he eats Wainwrights dry food, it's about a tenner a bag but I tend to buy in bulk, I also buy alot of meat discounted for him too. Not to mention all the treats he gets too
