Pick Only One of These Films
Ask a Question
Which one would you pick if you could only watch one of these films every Christmas for the rest of your life?
For me, it would be The Holiday. I love the growth both characters experienced during the film. Jack Black is a lovely bonus too.

Where's " The Hobbit " that has elves and beards. No it isn't exactly Christmassy ..

Will have to say home alone not seen any of the other nativity is only one I recognise

I would choose home alone hands down. That movie never gets old for me, I love it

Out of the four, The Elf, but I'm not the biggest fan of any of them. Although, I wouldn't want to commit myself to watching a film every year on a specific date, even for films that I really like.

It’ll always be home alone for me. None of the other films quite hit the spot for me

It's got to be Love Actually, love the music and it has everything in there for the Christmas countdown.

Well that choice has left me cold and I shall now have to cancel the TV licence and smash the TV!

Rather a dramatic response tumblespots! Are you not having a good morning?

gerrykelly25 Yes but I don't/can't watch any of these films! How are you now?

tumblespots much better thank you. My chest still feels tight but not painful. It was a strange illness. Thanks for asking.

gerrykelly25 It's a worry when things are right but you can't identify why. Hopefully you will continue steadily improving - just in time for Christmas

Out of the four, it would be Love Actually. There are other Christmas films that I prefer...

Home Alone, watching this every year and still like it. Its like already tradition to watch it

I wouldn't pick any of those films. I hate Home Alone and Elf! If there was nothing else on TV then I would watch The Holiday or Love Actually but wouldn't specifically pick them.

So difficult! Apart from The Holiday, these are my top Christmas films - I'd probably have to go with Home Alone, but that is such a tough decision haha

The Holiday not being part anyone top favourite films is honestly sacrilegious! A travesty!

flipside I've never seen it all the way through! Haha I know, what have I been doing with my life?!

lydiafitzsimons It’s a very light and feel-good drama about knowing your self worth. Plus, Kate Winslet’s character’s cottage is to die for.

I would have to pick elf as it’s probably the funniest and I could watch it for a laugh at xmas

Out of the four listed I have only seen Home Alone so would have to say that as it is one of those that you can watch over and over again!

Home alone or elf, love them all though. Me and my boys have been watching Elf tonight
Santa!! I know him!!!

Love actually as the soundtrack is very good. I love the love story from Colin firth
