JW Anderson might just take the prize for the craziest accessory of this season. A £650 clutch bag that looks exactly like a pigeon. The bird looks quite realistic: from the “subtle turquoise and pink hue” on its neck, to its wrinkly red-orange legs. The first batch sold out almost immediately. Fact is indeed often much stranger than fiction!

I can not see this taking off! Very unique but not my thing, very expensive so a very limited market for it.

Who are their customers? drug dealers? money laundering? benefit cheats? foreign despots? I can't think of anyone with any senses buying this. Ridiculous free publicity.
