Pilates or Yoga

Do you practice of one them? I do a bit of pilates to lesser my back aches. I'd love to try yoga but the classes here are very busy.

I think all of these classes are for people who are flexible, so none of them is for me.

I am not flexible in the slightest, you don't need to for pilates. Might need to at yoga though...

You look very young Agnes so unless you have a medical restriction there is no reason why you couldn't do either. I am in my 60s with quite bad knee joint pain but I have bought a pilates dvd and do it at home. You may not feel you are flexible but if you do nothing to improve flexibility you will be even less so when my age 😞🎾🏃🏀🏊🚴

I have practised both, and I find you strengthen your core with pilates, and make yourself more flexible with yoga. Both are good to accompany some other kind of sport or activity - not something I would do on their own, as they lack a lot of the principles of well rounded exercise
